Lantlôs
German experimental post-black metal project formed in 2005 and based in Zeltingen.
Lantlôs initially consisted of Herbst, Alboîn, and Angrrau. During the recording of the first album, Alboîn and Angrrau become less interested and eventually left the group (Alboîn appears only as a session vocalist on the group's first album).
Shortly afterward, Herbst met Neige and they began writing and recording the second album.
In 2013, Neige left the band, while Felix Wylezik and Cedric Holler joined Herbst. The new line-up published a new studio album in 2014.
The word "lantlôs" in Middle High German means "homeless" or "without a homeland."
