Gothic Novel Rock Records
In 2009, ASP celebrated their 10th anniversary, and took their time to think about the future of the band. They addressed some problems in their "Ten Proclamations" which they published. One of them was how to go on producing CDs on a market where CDs are valued less every day. To counter this their plan is to produce high quality releases. These releases will come in a "standard" version that will always be a high quality DigiPack with some kind of special production method, a thick booklet and a fair price. All former releases should also be removed and replaced by high-quality DigiPacks.

Additionally, every album relese will be accompanied by a limited deluxe edition. To make these editions more available to the fans and to counter high resell prices at eBay and co. the limitation will be set much higher than it was before (usually 999 copies - now up to 7999 copies). All this should be accomplished without an additional publisher, as ASP realized that they don't really gain anything from them, but in return these publishers make money out of the band up to 70 years after the death of all band members.

To accomplish all this, they had a meeting with their former label boss at Trisol, to form a new contract (as the old one ran out), and as a result a new Label was created at Trisol, which takes up more responsobility than the normal label, so that the band can create their editions as they wanted and don't be bothered about marketing, publishing and distribution, but can concentrate on their task of creating music.

This label was called "Gothic Novel Rock Records", after the "genre" that ASP-Mastermind Asp sees his music in. First release of that new Label was the single "Wechselbalg", of the new album cycle "fremd". Up to now this label is exclusively for ASP.
