Mirage
Eine elektronische Winterlandschaft
Dedicated to Hans Dieter Schulze

"Velvet Voyage" and "Crystal Lake" are published outside Germany, Austria, Switzerland by Virgin Music Publ. and inside of Germany, Austria Switzerland by P.O.E.M. Musikverlag
The bonus track "In cosa crede" is published worldwide by P.O.E.M. Musikverlag.

The music used for this re-release was carefully transferred from original old analogue mastertapes to digital format.

For those collectors who already own all of Klaus Schulze's extensive music library (including the Mirage album), we have included a slightly different version of "Velvet Voyage".

For those who know, you will notice the original two long "Mirage" tracks are divided into 6 subtitles each. This is not specifically displayed on the CD player, as it is not shown on the original album. We have also added a formerly unreleased long track that Klaus Schulze recorded six months prior to Mirage. It's the complete version of a soundtrack piece that was originally used for a Dutch movie. Only five minutes from this piece was ever used before on a now long deleted sampler. We're sorry, but its sound quality wasn't exactly made for our clean digital times (but we like it). And besides, it is only a bonus.

[Digipak

"Mirage" has been digitally remastered in the 80ies. Obviously, this version was taken for every further release (incl. the releases on Revisited Records/SPV and even the first re-issue on MIG Music.) That is why MIG Music gave the project into the proven hands of Tom Dams (Solar Moon System), who is Klaus' trusted sound engineer since 1998, to finally restore the material. Now MIG Music is able to present a digital version of "Mirage" which is as close to its origin as possible. Unfortunately, it was not possible to provide the original material for the bonustrack, but due to its historical significance we did not want to throw this track out.
