With "World Against World" Silver has taken a different approach to their music. Instead of moving towards mainstream they returned to their roots as heard on the "Riot 1-2-3" EP. They still play punk rock with a touch of fierce glam rock - but its more punk rock and less glam this time. The lyrics are still dark, gloomy and somewhat resigned but as often with Silver lyrics there is a light at the end of the tunnel somewhere. Although it can be hard to find in songs like "The Personal Decay" and "Dogs & Locusts". The first mentioned song is also the first video from the album.
