SoCal's Vultures United were first described to us as the "most terrifying band around", but as it turns out, they're pretty nice guys! Whew, right? There's nothing well-adjusted about their music though, and they draw their sound from nearby predecessors such as Black Flag and Swing Kids, while younger listeners will probably liken them to modern-day bands like Gallows, Hot Snakes, and The Bronx. One listen to their Red Scare debut, "Savages", will reveal to the world that Vultures United and their brand of dark, deviant hardcore cannot be categorized. It will, however, give you nightmares. Enjoy.
