Folk, chanson, Finnish originality and jazz are some of the compounds that bring forth the Helsinki based singer Aino Venna. With her debut album that was released 26.10. 2012, the wayward singer rose to the peak of new Finnish singers and songwriters. As for the music, Venna flirts with chanson and old rock n roll, as well as alludes to Italo pop and melodious phrasing. The lyrics derive from a past time, literature and film.
