Recorded live in concert at the Western Front in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, May 24th, 1986.
Pre-mastering at Synesthetics, NYC.
The Four-Limbed Approach is a supplementary use of both leg-ends (not unlike the techniques of trap-drummers, pedal organists and four-wheel-drive dumptrucks) to, in the case of the left foot, trigger fragments of live cello samples. In the case of the right foot, it triggers a pre-recorded cassette.
A three-limbed version (left foot) is heard occassionally on 'Life At The Western Front' and 'Life Extension'.
