The recording is undated but would appear to be from 1968.
The tape was originally sent to Brion Gysin in Paris, who left it in the care of Ramuntcho Matta who then issued the full 62 minutes recording in 1998 under the title Electronic Revolution. It first appeard as a limited eidtion CD with the first edition of the French magazine Crash.
The recording has remained a lost part of Burrough's experiments and investigations into the power of words and uses a combination of the cut-up technique and tape manipulation.
