Howard Raucous Genre: "Psychobilly" THE WRECKING PIT 9/06 I actually really liked this album. It's not a Psychobilly album, but then judging by the liner notes Psychobilly is not something that the band ever claimed to be. I'd describe it as Dark, American Psycho Rock 'n' Roll. It has all the elements of Psychobilly, but just comes out different. It's powerful Rock 'n' Roll with elements of Punk and Country, and the subject matter of the songs is much the same as typical Psychobilly band would write about. Maybe it's just too American sounding to be called Psychobilly - and being a fan of American music from Johnny Cash to The Gun Club is maybe why I like it so much.
