The Cycle Paths hail from a district of Derbyshire that was known as an old mining town called Clowne. This village can be traced as far back as being mentioned in the Domesday book in 1086…

Forming in the Summer 2011 with a shared love of soul, R&B, garage, freakbeat, mod revival, 60s beat (all the good stuff basically). In the traditional 3 piece mould with Stace Rose's buzzsaw guitar and rasping vocals, Ian King's driving bass and angelic backing vocals, and Andy Hardwick's insistent drumming, they put fun and enjoyment into each gig, for themselves and the crowds. Mixing original songs (lyrically ranging from the very personal to the ridiculous) with a selective choice of covers thrown into the mix, each gig is full of energy and passion which is recreated in this debut release. Enjoy !
