Back sleeve notes :
"This record is written, played and sung by non-communist Khmer Resistance fighters living in the last small area of free cambodia. the ten musicians and singers live on Cambodian soil in two camps - Ampil and Rithisen - close to the Thai border. From here they fight the Vietnamese; and if they have not guns and bullets, they use music. The purist may find some of the music on this record rather raw, some of the singing a little wobbly. But shining through each track can clearly be heard the eloquent sadness and fierce passion of a gentle people who (rather than fleeing overseas as refugees) are continuing the struggle against overwhelming odds to win back their country and their freedom from the Communist invaders. October 1983."
According to Oum Dara, record has been recorded and pressed in Singapore
