Engeland had The Rolling Stones, The Kinks en The Faces. Amerika had Blue Cheer, The Stooges en MC5. Nederland had Q65 en heeft nog steeds The Bintangs. En hoewel The Bintangs misschien nooit hetzelfde hitsucces heeft gehad als deze bands kunnen ze in Nederland althans toch minimaal dezelfde legendarische status toegekend worden. De band had een uniek en hard geluid dat werd omschreven als de zogenaamde Hoogoven sound. Bikkelharde onvervalste Rhythm & Blues maakten ze toen en als je luistert naar een aantal succesnummers van toen dan kan je niet anders dan concluderen dat The Bintangs hun tijd ver vooruit waren. Zo oorverdovend als vroeger is het niet meer maar vergis je niet, Bintangs speelt nog altijd op het scherpst van de snede. De oudste Rockband van Nederland laat op dit nieuwe album met een combinatie van nieuwe tracks en oudere live opnames horen hoe het moet
