"Lock Down Baby" was indeed written and recorded during the pandemic lockdown of 2020. Munich musician and label owner Malte Buhr came up with the idea for a topical song in the style of previous singles. I thought it was great and we overdubbed other instruments and vocals in Manchester. I made a few minor changes to the lyrics and mixed and produced the final version, already a number one song on the Soundclick Punk Charts. The flip side, "Working Man" is an original vintage recording of the original band, featuring the late Chris Fisher's electrifying performance on drums. Originally recorded in Manchester in 1979, the master tapes were restored, enhanced and remixed using new cutting edge modern technology.
