Three years after the debut Access All Areas and year and a half after the split 7" with Remedy, "oldfashioned" indie rock quartet from Zagreb has finally locked itself in studio during summer of 2018. New songs, new band member and a couple of new ideas of the band still fixated on loud guitars, solos, fast rhythms and pop songs made this album more fun and colourful. Still directly influenced by powerpop and punkrock giants like Descendents, Nova Mob, The Hold Steady or Superchunk, ESC Life more than ever plays with the cliches of popular music of the 20th and 21st century, but never ironically. Witty, fast and catchy indie rock tunes about life after 30, love and adulthood have once again been recorded and mixed by the inevitable Mark Mrakovcic, while Sara and Eva from Zen, Ivana Smolovic Ika from On Tour and Mark Mrakovcic himself sang a bit, too. Artwork was done by the busiest punk illustrator from this part of the world Lovro Skiljic.
