The German atmospheric/depressive black metal solo-project Herbstlethargie was founded by multi-instrumentalist Herbst (also: Gernotshagen, on drums, bass, additional lead guitars, duduk and vocals) to express his very own musical ideas and creativity. The first lyrics date back more than 10 years.By 2015 all conceptual ideas and further lyrics had been finished, so the band name was chosen and older lyrics revised to fit the final concept of expressing the different phases of autumn from the early cool nights of September, throughout the colder days and weeks, to the harbingers of early winter and the first snow. Songwriting took until 2020, and in 2021 the album recording was done with the help of Albo�n (also: E�s and others) on rhythm and lead guitars, as well as Florian (Sylvaine, Melatonyn) doing guest vocals and Lisa on cello. Recommended for fans of Woods Of Desolation, Nyktalgia, Panopticon, Waldgefl�ster. The CD is released as Collector's Edition in digipack with a 12-page booklet, limited to 500 copies.
