Psychedelic seventies rock. If you are looking for straight-ahead rock tunes, these guys may not be your cuppa tea. But if you love music-not songs, but MUSIC, you will find this album to have an embarrassment of riches. The arrangements are much stronger here than on their previous album. This is not a "song" album, but there are some very strong hooks and choruses to complement the instrument virtuosity. And the arrangements are very egoless-despite all the layering, the overall effect is clear from the first listing.
