Technician [Transferred From The Original Alpha Tapes] – Andrew Popplewell
The Goeyvaerts tapes were delivered from Alpha as pancakes so they were transferred to some empty reels and played back on a Studer A 80 tape machine. They required no baking and played back with excellent results considering their age. Each tape was digitised at 24 bit 96kHz resolution and apart from a few minor lever corrections between audio channels no further processing was needed.
Track 1 originally released in 1977 as Alpha Brussels LP - DBM-N 251 (Music In Flanders).
Track 2 originally released in 1973 on Alpha Brussels - SP 6015 (I.P.E.M 1963 - 1973).
Compiled in accordance with Mdm. Suzanne Naury (Alpha). Thanks to Gerd De Wilde. Licensed Courtesey of Alpha Records / Suzanne Naury.
