King Isxan are a Tel Aviv-based trio consisting of two guitars and drums. Fascinated by the broken metres and chromatic scales of their Mideastern culture, they blend local sounds from the ancient Maqams to the melodies of the "Eastern" music scene that emerged in Israel in the '80s with fresh neo-psychedelic influences. Their debut album 'Gishra L'Anani' (translated as "a bridge to the clouds"), is an invitation to a celestial meditative experience. Comes on swamp green/canary yellow splatter vinyl.
