Originally dating from 2007, but now available on a larger scale, the debut CD by M-JO. This singer-songwriter from Amsterdam (and -like f.i. Amarins, Leine and Lucky Fonz lll- member of the ASG), recorded this collection of lo-fi songs with a full backing band. Expect catchy melodies, many strange effects, lots of imagination, distorted guitars and voices, and an atmosphere ranging from mellow to manic. Also be sure to check out the remarkable cover version of LOVE's 'My Flash On You'. A very entertaining album!
