Just like its namesake, Dirty Rice combines a hodgepodgeof elements into a tasty crave-inducing platter. From the absolute classic CADDIES up-tempo-punk-meets-Dixieland sound on "Bring It Down", to the reggae/dub components of "Shoot Out the Lights" and "Dangerous",to the Beatles or even Squeeze influenced "Down and Out", Dirty Rice truly has it all. Yet, even with all its variety,the album never feels a bit disjointed. Skilled song writing and Chucks smooth vocals act as a thread that weaveseach song together seamlessly, creating a well-balanced cohesive collection. With nearly 7 years having passedsince releasing their last new material, MAD CADDIES fans are hungry for Dirty Rice and the band will be hittingthe road hard throughout 2014 to serve it up live.
