Marc Reisman has a storied career in music, as harmonica blaster for the Pittsburgh band, the IRON CITY HOUSEROCKERS and fronting his own bands through the years, namely the PEP BOYS. Now Marc has surprised those who have known his past blues/rock based work with his debut CD STRONG WAY. This disc truly is a wonderful excursion through many musical styles, helped along with the Cool Runnings of former CORE band member Kurt Resch, a popular reggae group in the Steel City. Sure, there are traces of Marc's past influences in the blues/rock vein on this disc, but check out the tracks "House of a Hundred Souls," "Broken Glass" (a narrative that echoes Beat Poetry), "TV Eyes," and "Strong Way" for a portal into the eclectic mind of a true musical and lyrical craftsman. STRONG WAY is one strong solo debut from Marc Reisman!
