'Buenos Aires Report' is de eerste cd op ons nieuwe label Saphrane, een label voor jazz, klassiek en wereldmuziek en de boeiende combinaties tussen deze genres. Met deze schitterende opname (2006) uit het Bimhuis, Amsterdam, van de bekende tangopianist Pablo Ziegler (o.a. bekend van Piazzolla), gitarist Quique Sinesi (o.a. Dino Saluzzi) en bandoneonist Walter Castro (o.a. Pugliese) wordt de lat onmiddellijk zeer hoog gelegd. Dit trio won afgelopen jaar de Latin Grammy Award voor beste tangoalbum van het jaar. Dit album kreeg een nominatie voor beste tango-album bij de Latin Grammy's van 2008. Nuevo tango van wel zeer hoog niveau. Aanrader!
