Palooka 5 are the quirkiest band that you're likely to come across: '60s surf and garage music played on original vintage instruments, with a 'sci fi surf' twist. Since first releasing their debut long player 'Rough Magic' (followed up last year with 'Ultra Marine'), the band have received great interest from some of the best BBC Radio 6 Music presenters, plus SIRUS XM in USA on Drew Carey and Little Steven's (yes 'im from The Sopranos) Underground Garage. Plus, a four-star review of the LP in Shindig Magazine.Following the success of 'Ultramarine', it was decided to reinvigorate their first album, providing a reissue with a re-brand. 'Rough Magic' mixes vocal hits with instrumental pounders.
