The 2022 album from NYC based singer-songwriter Arthur Lamonica' s outfit Rome 56 is full of the effectively catchy and smart tunes he's known for, starting back with his CBGB-era band The Shirts, penning their biggest hit 'Tell Me Your Plans.' The dozen songs on 'Days Of Carefree Living' started out pre-isolation but ended up becoming the homespun affair it is thanks to the lockdown, with recording taking place mostly at home and mostly as a duo, with Arthur's wife Kathy Lamonica contributing keyboards and vocals.
