Rotengeist band was formed at the and of 2005 in Przemysl, Poland. The founder of the band was Piotr Winiarski (guit./voc.). From the beginning of its existence the band focused on creating their own music. At first Rotengeist didn't have any vocalist and after almost 2 years of fruitless searching its guitarist decided to function as a vocalist. He was a complete amateur. At the end of 2006 the band recorded its first demo CD. Because trio hadn't get enough financial means they decided to record this material by themselves. Drummer Ziemowit Gawlik obliged to carry this burden.
