Ruth Brown is known for her many hits, commencing with "Teardrops From My Eyes" to "Meet Me With Your Black Drawers On". This cd pays homage by taking on the guise of a musical synopsis, that shows all of her singing styles. Tony Award nominated Sandra (Reeves) Phillips is currently on Broadway as she has been for over thirty years Belting out gospel and blues. Her one woman show, A Tribute To The Late Great Ladies Of Blues And Jazz, has won her overwhelming accolades. Clint Eastwood cast her in Round Midnight, and she had a co-starring role in Lean On Me. In her words, "Swamp Dogg captured some of the greatest vocals and interpretaions that Ive ever done". Two of the greatest ladies of song have been captured here at their very best.
