Flowaz is the result of several years of musical reflection for Sara Lugo, with the desire to explore new horizons. The workaround this album begins with "Elevate" EP, released last July. If the EP shows the extent of her talent, it is on the albumFlowaz where she reveals her unique identity and mixes her soulful voice with airy melodies and explores new horizons, guided by Blanka, renowned producer and member of the dj crew La Fine Equipe. The album opens with the new soul track "Flowaz", with its bewitching brass layers. This ambient sound is the red thread ofthe album, which she develops throughout the tracks, especially on "Time", from which emerges a hushed atmosphere ofwhich the artist has the secret. The track and single "Better Ways" stands out from the line of the album with a piano lead alsopresent on "Mexican Airlines", track tinged with Cumbia rhythms. If the instrumental parts of the songs occupy a predominantplace, Sara grants a very particular importance to her lyrics which are anchored in the current events. This is the case with"Better Ways", this piece is a call for solidarity, to become aware of the world in which we live and to change our habits to hopefor a better future, theme in agreement with what we go through today. The piano is also invited on "Mexican Airlines", a piecetinged with cumbia rhythms, which makes blow in our ears, an air of vacation in the sun.Flowaz is a successful challenge for Sara Lugo, who offers a successful and eclectic album, perfect for the long summerahead.
