'Nightfall In Heaven' is the only demo of this obscure German black metal band featuring the founder of Northern Silence Prod. in its line-up. Due to unfortunate circumstances the band existed for less than a year, during which time 8 songs were finished, recorded under rather adverse conditions and then self-released in early 2001 as a very limited demo CDr. Now that the Northern Silence Underground Series provides the perfect medium for albums like this raw gem of German underground black metal, they decided to finally re-release it with new artwork and liner notes but keeping the original "grim and frostbitten" sound. Shelob's Lair played raw, fast and atmospheric northern black metal influenced by bands such as (early) Emperor, Frozen Shadows, Lord Belial, M�rk Gryning, Godkiller, Immortal, Isvind and Scandinavian mid-'90s black metal in general.
