With "Nie wieder" the SOECKERS are adding their second album to the 2020 debut. Like so many up-and-coming young bands, the Mr quartet took the 'big break' in between - but instead of lethargy, SOECKERS swim in a creative frenzy, which is also accompanied by the prominent producer PAUL GALLISTER (WANDA). "Never again" will be released on CD and in summer on vinyl via CHATEAU LALA. It would be an understatement to say that the SOECKERS are only four friends from the Mr hinterland, even if the quartet always insists on not hiding their own individuals behind the coolness of a garage band. While the debut of the band was still deliberately designed to depict the live sound of the formation as faithfully as possible, the exact opposite is practiced on "Never again": The 'more is more' principle is explored - strings, grand pianos, choirs - which 'more' is too much for SOECKERS, flies uncompromisingly out of the arrangement. "Never again" is a further development for which many other bands need more than three albums. A big leap for a band that remains true to itself. Whets the appetite for red wine in the blazing sun and dancing barefoot in the rain of the indie festivals.
