Originally released on the UK budget-label SAGA in 1968, this first album by German band The Blackbirds consists of PSYCHEDELIC beat/pop music with a bit of Mothers Of Invention type satire, other weird moves and some progressive touches. There are strong melodies, convincing vocals (including Werner Breinig's odd falsetto), and cool guitar and Hammond organ parts. Comes with two bonus tracks and an extensive booklet.
