Less raw and punky, "Weight Of Air" is a surprisingly sophisticated release from the young quartet, and this time they draw more from Midwestern indie-punk influences like the Replacements, the Weakerthans, and Promise Ring. Lots of instrumentation, mature songwriting, youthful energy, and some of THE catchiest hooks we've heard from any Red Scare band add up to an impressive follow-up. They may not be old enough to gamble and drink yet, but you can expect a lot more great music and great shows from these fresh-faced Clevelanders.
