UP FRONT were an influential part of the late 1980s straight edge hardcore movement in NY and CT that helped pave the way for the third generation of straight edge hardcore bands. They played many of their early shows at the now famous Anthrax Club in Norwalk, CT. Spirit is the classic LP from 1988 which was followed by a summer tour in 1989 with UNIT PRIDE, INSTED, and GORILLA BISCUITS.
