After cutting his teeth in several rock and folk bands sincethe late sixties (including Hush, Tail Toddle), Dutchsinger/songwriter and master guitarist Jan Duindam released hisfirst solo album in 1978 for the tiny Munich label. With helpfrom local musician Guus Willemse of progressive band Solution,who played bass, drums and synth, Jan created 'Thoughts'. Themusic here can be described as psychedelic folk-rock/acid-folkwith stunning guitar playing and fragile, dreamy vocalharmonies. The album also features 'Happiness And Tears', atrack selected by modern neo-folk/indie-rock stars Midlake fortheir 'Late Night Tales' mix. Comes with remastered sound, including rare photos and detailed liner notes. "Jan crafted a quiet masterpiece that exists in its own soft, reflective realm", says Hugh Dellar.
