Addictive

Addictive
Addictive were formed in Sydney, Australia in 1987. Heavily influenced by Metallica, Kreator, Slayer, Exodus etc, the band started gigging in early 1988 and released their seminal demo "Ward 74" later that year.

Constant touring gave the band a very high profile especially in Sydney, where they shared the stage with Mortal Sin, Detriment, Massive Appendage, Mass Appeal, Taramis, Fester Fanatics, Cromok, Agressa and others.

In early 1989 the band headed out on a national tour with Mortal Sin which then lead into their debut album "Pity Of Man" being released on the Sydney label Survival Records in December that year.

Drummer Matt Coffey left the band in 1990 and was replaced by former Enticer drummer, Steve Moore, who went onto record their second album "Kick 'em Hard"
