Franco Saint De Bakker

Belgian band playing non-standard jazz, with a lot of effects, detuned keyboards, hysterical vocals, distorted guitars, crazy horns...

They started in 1999, when guitarist Elko Blijweert needed drums, bass, saxophone and keyboards for his finals at the Jazz Studio in Antwerp. The band then continued playing gigs but only when every member was available, which was difficult since every one played in various bands (Kiss My Jazz, Zita Swoon, Novastar, Dead Man Ray, Autistik Youth, etc.).

Guests during live performances: Stefaan Blancke on trombone, Rudy Trouvé on guitar & vocals, Tim Van Der Poel (Autistik Youth, Almanak,…) on vocals, Bjorn Eriksson (Maxon Blewitt, ex-Zita Swoon, ex-Tumbleweed, ...).
