Limited edition run - RY X and Ólafur Arnalds’s 2020 hit ‘Oceans’ on 7 inch vinyl for release on UN’s World Oceans Day, 8th June (30th July in USA and Canada).
This 7" vinyl features the b-side, Haf (Icelandic for 'ocean'), the sound of waves recorded off the coast of Cornwall, UK. The packaging uses recycled seaweed and contains zero disposable plastic. Comes in a 90gsm Shiro Alga Carta envelope with resealable flap. 7” 3mm spined sleeve printed 4/0 on 300gsm Shiro Alga Carta seaweed based paper.
All of the proceeds from Ólafur will go to the Coral Triangle Center (coraltrianglecenter.org), an ocean and coral reef preservation foundation based in Indonesia. They work closely with their local partners to strengthen marine resource management in the Coral Triangle with the mission to protect coral reef ecosystems, ensure sustainable livelihoods and food security.
