William Onyeabor
William Onyeabor (born 29 March 1946 – died 16 January 2017) was a Nigerian funk singer and songwriter.
He studied cinematography in Russia (USSR) for many years, returning to Nigeria in the mid-1970's to start his own Wilfilms Records music label and to set up a music and film production studio, Wilfilms (Recording Studios) Ltd. Enugu, Nigeria. He recorded a number of hit songs in Nigeria during the 1970's, the biggest of which was ‘Atomic Bomb’ in 1978.
