David Vodika, dubbed this his pet project, it begun while studying Arts/Law in Melbourne. Originally called Rubber Chicken the designer putting together the artwork for the first seven inch decided the label name was ridiculous, and shortened it to the somewhat less slapstick title Rubber. The label has worked with a number of underground Australian and International artists over the years.
