Urge Records

The label began in 2015, operating from a bedroom on the south coast of NSW. In 2016, Urge Records opened a brick and mortar store in Thirroul, NSW, Australia. The store would host a variety of live music and art events, operated as a rehearsal space for local bands, and sold a collection of niche punk records alongside some other popular music. By the end of 2018, Urge Records decided to close shop after troubles with the local council around the live music events. Today, Urge Records is run by Jai Love (in Los Angeles, California) and Alan Gojak (in Sydney, Australia).
