Vik
Vik is the continuation of the RCA subsidiary label "X". "X" was discontinued on January 1, 1956 and replaced with the Vik label. The last number on "X" was at least 4X-0184, "Turn The Light On" by Eddie Fontaine (Reardon).
In 1958 Vik was discontinued in most of the world except for Italy, Spain, Lebanon, Argentina and Venezuela and discontinued in the former two in 1966. It remained active in Lebanon & Venezuela while in Argentina it morphed into RCA Vik. Both labels continued operations up to their absorption by BMG in 1986.
