Anders Miolin
Swedish classical guitarist, born May 28, 1961 in Botkyrka, raised in Lund.
He plays the 13-string "Chiavi-Miolin guitar".
Anders Miolin was admitted to the Royal Danish Academy of Music (Det kunglige danska musikkonservatorium) already at the age of 15. He studied under the Karl Scheit student Professor Per-Olof Johnson. He continued to study for prof. Johnson at the Academy of Music in Malmö where he took his first soloist diploma, he took a second soloist diploma after studying at the Academy of Music in Basel, Switzerland after studying with Oscar Ghiglia.
Today, Anders Miolin is a professor at Zurich University of the Arts. He continues to record, give concerts and master classes all over the world. He has recorded six solo albums for the record label BIS Records.
Together with the guitar builder Ermanno Chiavi, he has developed a 13-string guitar called "Chiavi-Miolin".
