Johnny Hates Jazz

Johnny Hates Jazz
English pop band, formed in London in 1985 by Clark Datchler (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Mike Nocito (bass, guitar), and Calvin Hayes (keyboards, drums). JHJ achieved worldwide success with their 1987 hit single "Shattered Dreams" and their 1988 LP "Turn Back the Clock".

Datchler departed after their debut LP and released two solo LPs in the early 1990's. Meanwhile, Mike Nocito and Calvin Hayes released a follow-up JHJ album in 1991, "Tall Stories", with Phil Thornalley on vocals.

Datchler and Nocito reformed as JHJ in 2007 to record a new album
