Crisis Records

Crisis Records
Crisis Records was a subsidiary record label of Revelation Records co-founded by Jordan Cooper, Walter Schreifels and his brother Dylan Schreifels. The label originally existed from 1991 to 1993 then was put to rest. In 1996, Revelation Records employee, and former Unbroken bassist, Rob Moran re-launched the company to release female-fronted bands (Chinchilla, Redfive, Beta Minus Mechanic), with financial backing from Cooper. This iteration of Crisis Records took a change when Cooper started shifting bands that were "too heavy" (Sparkmarker, Autumn, Will Haven) or too "alternative" (Overland) to fit on Revelation Records , as opposed to acts solely signed by Moran. Crisis Records folded permanently in late 1998 when it was deemed unsuccessful.
