Mixpak

Mixpak is a Brooklyn-based record label, founded in 2009 by producer Dre Skull. A contemporary encapsulation of the classic Brooklyn-Caribbean connection, the label is home to some of Jamaica’s biggest stars, releasing full length albums with Vybz Kartel and Popcaan as well as riddim releases featuring Beenie Man, Machel Montano, Tifa, Spice and more. However, much like New York, Mixpak is a globally-minded endeavour without genre boundaries or confines – delivering music from rappers, underground club producers and experimental electronic artists alike. On any given day you might find us recording in Kingston, bringing Swishahouse to a warehouse party in NYC, performing at Notting Hill Carnival or hunkering down on artist development and workshopping with engineers & songwriters in our studio.
